1. Gameplay
Battlegrounds- Action, fight-game that can have up to 100 players in a map. Each round starts with players parachuting down from a plane. You start with no gears, and have to loot gears from houses, to get weapons. There are also safe zones, and if you go out of the zone, you will get damage dramatically. Also the safe zone will shrink and the danger zone. However this game has more guns than Fortnite, and is very original. The goal is to KILL THEM ALL!
Fortnite- Action, but PG game, where you can have up to 100 players in a map. Each round starts with players parachuting down from a plane. It is very unoriginal. You start with no gears but a picaxe, and you can use that to defend yourself and cut trees and stuffs to get materials. When you get those materials, you can then build ramps and stuff and create your own base. You also have to loot gears which is annoying. One you will take damage when you are out of the safe zone. However it is very unoriginal and is a copy of Battlegrounds, Minecraft, and Resident Evil. However they also have a campaign.

2. Variety of consoles
Battlegrounds- In Battlegrounds you can only play in Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.
Fortnite- This game is available for Microsoft Windows, MacOS, PS4, and Xbox One, which are quite a lot of consoles.

3. Maps and Weapons
Battlegrounds- The maps are AMAZINGLY huge! Their guns are also unique and they have tons of weapons. You'd find pretty much every single weapons in Battlegrounds. They are also really realistic, and there are tons of buildings and hiding places to make the match even more intense.
Fortnite- The maps are also really huge. Their guns are unique, but they don't have many guns yet. Guns are organized into color codes by rarity, and is quite cool.

4. Difficulty
Battlegrounds- The game is quite hard, and even the expert struggles. This game is all about luck, and if this is your first time playing this game, you might be the first one to die. You can die so easily in this game. You might be riding a motor bike, and just die for no special reason. This is a game for experts.
Fortnite- This game is not as hard as Battlegrounds. In fact, you'd most likely not be the first to die, even if you are a beginner. This is mostly about luck and how good your skills are. It is really easy, as you can just make a shield with your materials and attack, which can lead to amazing intense battles. This game is for age above 9. That's how easy it is.

5. Copies Sold
Battlegrounds- It has sold over 26 million copies, since their first release. It has gained 10 million almost instantly, and has been the most popular game ever since.
Fortnite- It had sold over 10 million copies. It is still growing slowly, and might even beat Battlegrounds. It is however, highly unlikely.
