Star Wars Battlefront is an action shooter game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts released in November 2015. This is the third installment in the Battlefront series and is considered a reboot to the previous games rather than a sequel.
Gameplay
Star Wars Battlefront is an action shooter game where like the previous games, players can switch between first person and third person modes easily. Unlike the previous games, the 2015 release of Battlefront does not have a story mode in it. Instead there are many different multiplayer modes where players have to capture command posts or some other objective and fight each other. However this game is still purely a multiplayer game, with limited modes for the offline version. Players can play as heroes, vehicles or villains by collecting hero tokens. The game follows the popular Battlefield series. Spawn, Kill, Die, Repeat.
Game Modes
Star Wars Battlefront is a good game with excellent graphics but suffers from a lack of content. It was disappointing that Battlefront 2015 did not have a story mode. The game is definitely overpriced. Like seriously! It cost $60 when it was first released but now it costs around $15 and for the PS4 version if you want to play online you have to purchase PS Plus which costs another $60. Oh, and if you want to buy the expansion packs you will have to buy the season pass which costs $50. So unless you are a big Star Wars fan I suggest that you don't buy the season pass.
