You guys probably saw the headline before you clicked into this post, yes. We are going to be talking about A Way Out. Before we start, please follow us @YGCHOI in Instagram, and we are sorry for the ads. Anyways, without any farther to do, let's start today's AMAZING post!!!

About

A Way Out is an action-adventure game developed by Hazelight Studios and was published by Electronic Arts. This game is released for the PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. This is the second game the director had directed after Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. This game was first announced on E3 2017 and is specifically designed for split screen game plays. This means, that this game is a multiplayer only game.

Gameplay

A Way Out is a action-adventure game played in third person. The players control Vincent and Leo, who are prisoners who had been caught doing murder and theft. Sometimes, because of the story
telling one of the prisoner sometimes, the other player has to watch the other person play while waiting and watching the cut-scenes. You might also be required to cooperate with the other player to complete the obstacle. For example, during the prison escape, one person needs to distract the guards, while the other person find a tool which can help them escape. However, you can change the roles. There are also dialogues, which you can choose during the game.

Plot

This game is one of these games with great plot, and the plot that I am about to show you guys, is going to get very interesting. It is basically about two guys who meet in a prison cell. Anyways, here is the detailed plot: Before we start

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Vincent Moretti is freshly incarcerated and sent to jail for murder. In jail, he meets thief Leo Caruso, who had been arrested for grand theft. A group of thugs sent in by crime boss Harvey tries to murder Leo, but Vincent intervenes. While the two recover in the infirmary, they get to know each other and Leo request Vincent's help to steal a file from the office. Vincent complies. After the theft, Vincent senses that Leo is planning on a prison break and offers to help so he can escape too. Leo initially refuses, but begrudgingly agrees to collaborate when Vincent reveals he also has a grudge with
Harvey.

Leo and Vincent make progress on their escape plan, stealing sheets to make a rope and smuggling a wrench to open a grating. Using teamwork and gathered tools, the two escape from the jail on a rainy night. After evading the police in the wilderness, the two find an empty camp and fish to make food, while Vincent reveals that Harvey murdered his brother. The two steal new clothes and a truck from and old couple's house, evade the chasing police, and reach a city....

Not telling you guys anymore. Just play the game or watch it if you really want to know the rest of the plot.

Review

Yep, you guys saw the title. We are going to be reviewing this game. OK, let's start. First off, A Way Out is quite a creative game. It is very original and I like the whole split screen sort of thing. However there are some cons. As a result of the split screens, people speak over each other in different screens and sometimes can create problems of not being able to hear the lines of the characters. There are also a lot of swearing. I mean it's a prison game, but even by 18+ standards, it has a lot of swearing words. It is very fun, but there are sometimes technical issues. Apart from that this is a very fun game.

8.3/10 - IGN
