Far Cry Primal- Review

Hey guys! Welcome back to another post in the Games Insiders! Where today we are going to be talking about another really popular game series FAR CRY!! Anyways, I should really change my speech, it sounds so scripted. Anyways, we are going to be talking about Far Cry Primal, which is my favorite game in the series. That's right, it's not Far Cry 4 or any other gun including Far Cry, I like the Primal. Well, that's for later, let's just start today's post and get along with it!

About

Far Cry Primal is a game developed by Ubisoft and was also published by Ubsoft. Far Cry Primal had received good reviews, however there was some problems the game had. For example, the game had lacked weapons, and also the game had nothing to do with the other Far Cry series. But honestly I liked this better.

Gameplay

Far Cry Primal is a first person game set in a huge open world. It is an action adventure game, like most of the popular games in the 21st century. In Far Cry Primal the traditional gun fights have been removed and so had the vehicles. That really annoyed some players and which is some of the reason why it only got 7/10 on steam.

As for that reason, players can only use weapons like clubs, bows, spears, etc. Players also have to craft or scavenge items, unlike the other Far Cry games, where they had to buy guns and weapons. You can craft your weapons with materials like woods, sticks, etc. As the player level up or go into the story, he/she can craft more weapons, and can also have stronger ones.

You might be like, who even in the baddies in this game? Is there even is one? Well, the answer is,
yes. In fact, you actually have a lot of enemies in this game of Far Cry. Your most common enemies will be the animals. There are many dangerous animals in Far Cry Primal including bears, wolves, lions, tigers, etc. However, you will also have other enemies, like the other hostile tribes in the area. Every time you kill a tribe, your own tribe (Wenja) will rule a bigger land. Your tribe will also help you kill the enemies. Also, during the night, the predators will be very violent and aggressive.

Next is my favorite part of the game, which is taming the animals. At first, you will only be able to tame animals like wolves, and other weak stuffs. But later on if you tame all the animals, you will be able to tame a larger variety, like a saber-tooth lion. You can tame animals by using baits. When you trow a bait, they will go for it, and when they are eating the bait, you can tame it.

Story Plot

Before we "officially" start. Let's just say this. It's just about a guys in a tribe, which has been separated by the other part of the tribe. Then one day, a saber tooth tiger killed all the people in the tribe, and you are left alone. You start looking for the other tribe, and finally found this girl who is from that tribe called Sayla. Let's just start the plot now.

Takkar, a hunter from the Wenja tribe, barely survives after his hunting party is ambushed and killed by a saber-toothed tiger as they travel to the land of Oros. Resigned to proceed alone, Takkar meets Sayla (Cara Ricketts), a woman also from the Wenja, and once they arrive at Oros, Sayla informs Takkar that the Wenja are scattered and homeless across the land after their village was destroyed by Ull (DeLaRosa Rivera), leader of the Neanderthal-like Udam tribe who live in the northern mountains, and hunt down the Wenja to cannibalize them. Takkar then starts gathering the Wenja he meets around his cave, eventually encountering the shaman Tensay (Terrence C. Carson), who helps him to learn the ability to tame the local animals.
After repelling an attack from Ull to his newly established village, Takkar enlists the help of three other skilled Wenja: Jayma (Ayisha Issa), a veteran huntress, Wogah (Ron Kennell), a one-armed craftsman, and Karoosh (Nicolas Van Burek), a one-eyed warrior with his own vendetta against the Udam. With the help of Tensay, Takkar also discovers that the Udam are eating Wenja flesh in hopes of gaining immunity from a terminal genetic disease that is wiping out their tribe, then tracks down and apprehends the Udam
commander Dah (Juan Carlos Velis) to learn more about the Udam's techniques. The Wenja reject Takkar's decision to give shelter to a member of the enemy tribe at first, and attempt to execute Dah behind his back, until Takkar himself arrives in time to rescue Dah and chastise the tribe for performing the execution without his permission, earning Dah's gratitude and help. When the agrarian and Aztec-like Izila, another, more advanced tribe that lives in the marshlands of southern Oros, begin capturing some Wenja prisoners for slavery and human sacrifice to the Sun, Takkar invades their domains to rescue them, coming face to face with their leader Batari (Debra Wilson). After he refuses to become Batari's slave, a war begins between the Wenja and Izila. Takkar then infiltrates the camp of an Izila commander named Roshani (Ali Momen) and captures him, allowing him to live in exchange for some Izila technology in both warfare and agriculture.
After preparing himself enough to face Ull and Batari, Takkar storms the Udam and Izila's main fortresses, passing by all opposition before confronting and killing their commanders. While Batari is burned alive during a solar eclipse, Ull urges Takkar to take care of his two children with his dying breath, which Takkar accepts, taking them with him to his village in safety. With both rival tribes defeated and Wenja's dominance secured, Roshani agrees to stay with the Wenja and teach them how to grow food, while Takkar reluctantly agrees to mercifully kill Dah, ending his suffering from the Udam's disease. Takkar then celebrates his victory with the other villagers.
In the post-credits, Ull's daughter appears taming a cave bear, implying that she has acquired the same skill to tame animals as Takkar.

Review

Almost skipped this part. First off let's start off by saying this. Far Cry Primal is the best Far Cry game ever. I really like how you can just craft your weapons, and how you can just tame animals. It is like one of those grow your village sort of game, and those are one of my favorites. There is also a huge story behind all this, and the graphics are also good. I also really like the settings and the big fat furry elephant. Also, you can ride that mammoth/ big fat, furry elephant Overall, this game is really cool, but the characters need some improvement. Take Sayla for example. Her face looks so bad!
