Super Mario 64 (N64 and DS)

Super Mario 64, for the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo DS is another Mario game, but this is different. This was released in 1996 (look at picture), but it was 3D! It was one if its kind back then, and it inspired everyone to start making 3D games! In fact, it inspired Banjo-Kazooie! If it wasn't for this game, then Banjo-Kazooie would not have existed!

Anyway, this unique game features Mario and his adventures in a 3D world, and you have to collect 120 stars from the levels and bosses he faces.

These worlds include Bob-omb Battlefield, Whomp's Fortress, Jolly Roger Bay, Cool, Cool Mountain, Big Boo's Haunt, Hazy Maze Cave, Lethal Lava Land, Shifting Sand Land, Dire, Dire Docks , Snowman's Land, Wet-Dry World, Tall, Tall Mountain, Tiny, Huge Island, Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride.

Now, also, there are 15 secret stars in the castle, and one more star you can get when you collect 100 coins in each of the 15 worlds.

You have to fight Bowser 3 times, though, and they have to do with flinging him around, and hitting mines, while dodging the attacks he throws at you.

Also, there is a DS version, and it also has 150 stars now, and also some minigames that you can play, and most of them also appear in New Super Mario Bros, also for the Nintendo DS.
